In union with the Church throughout the world and all people of good will, we express our sorrow on the death of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, and gratitude for his faithful service to the Church for almost twelve years.

We pray that this day he may be embraced by the mercy of God that so captivated him in this life. May his soul rest in peace.
